About Louise Davis and Find Your Way
Hello I’m Louise Davis, the owner and founder of Find Your Way Educational Coaching. I’m an ex-teacher, Deputy Head and Director of Sixth Form with many years’ experience working in schools in both the maintained and independent sectors.
Find Your Way is an educational consultancy that specialises in supporting students and teachers at critical points in their careers. I set up Find Your Way because I recognised that so many people in education often struggle to move forward with their career goals and aspirations. School life these days can be intense for everyone and there are often too many pressures coming from too many different directions.
The result can be that sometimes, no matter how determined you are to develop the right skills, get that promotion or make decisions about your next move, the daily grind can thwart your good intentions. I’ve witnessed first-hand how otherwise bright and capable people can stagnate through the lack of support and coaching, and I wanted to do something about it.
With Find Your Way I’ve used my 30 years of teaching and leadership experience to develop a series of courses designed for teachers who want to develop their skills, or who want to move into a leadership role, and sixth form students who need some guidance on their options when they leave school. Please have a look through my courses and contact me if you need any further information.
A little more about me: I hold a BA (hons) in Psychology, and a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status. I’m currently taking additional coaching training with the Coaching Academy, working towards a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching and a Diploma in Coaching in Education. I’m also Smart PA accredited.
